Examination Procedure for the B. A. M. S. Degree Examinations
1. Notification of Examination.
a) There will be two examinations per year, Regular and Subsequent, ordinarily in December / January and June / July respectively. Owing to the delay in admissions necessary adjustments hade to be made for the first batch. Their Regular and Subsequent Examinations ordinarily will be conducted in March and September respectively.
b) The date and schedule of the examinations will be announced by the Additional Controller of Examinations (Ayurveda) at least one month before the commencement of the examination.
2. Registration of the Candidates for the Examination.
a) The application for registration will be distributed to the candidates from the Examination Control Division [ECD] (Ayurveda).
b) The duly filled forms shall be submitted to the Office of the Principal, Amrita Ayurveda Medical College (AAMC).
c) After the scrutiny and attestation by the Principal the forms shall be submitted to the Addl. Controller of Examinations (Ayurveda).
d) Proforma of the Examination Registration Form (Form 1 & 2 in Annexure I) is designed by the Addl. Controller of Examinations (Ayurveda) under intimation to the Controller of Examinations, Amrita.
3. Allotment of Hall Ticket Number and Distribution.
a) After verification of the Registration Forms, the Hall Ticket Numbers will be allotted and the Hall Tickets shall be sent to the Office of the Principal, AAMC at least ten days before the commencement of the examination.
b) The Hall Ticket Numbers will be allotted by the following procedure.
(i) The Hall Ticket Number shall have eleven digits.
(ii) The first two digits denote the course and subject. For BAMS course 1 and 0.
(ii) The third digit denotes the Profession / Year of the course. For First, Second and Third Professional BAMS courses they are 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
(iv) The forth digit denotes whether the examination is Regular or Subsequent. For Regular it is 1 and for Subsequent it is 2.
(v) The fifth and sixth denote the year of examination. For 2006 it is 0 and 6.
(vi) Seventh and eighth denotes the serial number of examination.
(vii) The ninth, tenth and eleventh denote the serial number allotted for the alphabetically arranged names of the candidates. |
