Duration : 4.5 Years + 1 Year Compulsory Internship
Eligibility : A pass in 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology from any State Board, CBSE or equivalent.

PROSPECTUS
Terms and Conditions applicable for admissions to
Panchakarma/Pharmacy Courses - 2008

The Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetham , Amrita School of Ayurveda Campus is located at Vallikavu, Kollam District. As an ongoing process of imparting better health of our people, we have commenced two Certificate courses related to Ayurveda – Panchakarma Masseurs and Pharmacy Technicians. The particulars of our courses are given in the following paragraphs.
Important Note. The management reserves its right to alter any of the conditions for the purpose of complying with any of the statutory regulations of any competent authority.

1. Duration and Curriculum

2. Eligibility
a. Age:
The applicants should be between 17 and 22 years of age as on 1st Aug 2008
b. Qualifications
The candidates must have passed the higher secondary examination preferably with science subjects and English.

c. Minimum Marks

The candidates should have obtained atleast 50% marks in the selective subjects and English.
3. Verification of Documents
All admissions are subject to verification of original documents

4. Fees per Annum

b. In addition, Cost of Uniforms and refundable caution deposits are also payable.
c. Admitted candidates shall remit at the time of admission, the total fees by Demand Draft favouring Amrita Ayurveda Medical College and payable at Kollam. Request for extension of time shall not be considered.
d. Last date for admission of the courses has been fixed as 20th August 2008 and regular classes shall commence with effect from the Last week of Aug. 2008

5. Discipline

The College, Hospital and the Factory form part of Mata Amritanandamayidevi Math and we expect strict discipline to be maintained
a. Only Vegetarian food will be served inside the Campus.
b. Students maintaining Vehicles is strictly forbidden.
c. Use of Mobile Phones, I-Pods, Videos, cameras, Laptops and other similar electronic goods are prohibited within the Campus.
d. Smoking and consumption of alcoholic beverages within the campus is strictly prohibited and anyone found indulging on this shall be dismissed from the college without any warning.
e. There is a mandatory dress code within our premises,
f. A series of discussions and value oriented courses are conducted within our premises and all students are expected to participate in these programs.
g. Ragging is a criminal offence and is prohibited by the law of this land. Anyone found involved or indulging in this act shall be summarily expelled from the institution.
6. Attendance
Attendance is compulsory and is marked separately for theory and practical classes.
