Ayurveda is a highly evolved system of medicine that was developed by the ancient rishis of India, and which is gaining an increasing following in today’s world.
Amrita Ayurveda medical college hospital is yet another expression of boundless compassion of sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, reflecting her divine sankalpa to provide high quality of holistic health care for all humanity. The hospital has building area of 1 lakh square feet, staffed with highly qualified and experienced Ayurvedic medical practitioners and is equipped with many state of the art medical facilities. We are working at a small fraction of the cost of commercial hospital, and with far greater attention to quality because of the labour of love that this represents for all of us.
Hospital has its own medicine manufacturing unit, which is manufacturing various Ayurvedic classical medicines and few patented medicines under the name of Amrita life.
Hospital has various specialty departments like Panchakarama, Shalya, Shalakya, Prasooti tantra and Stree roga, Koumarabritya, Atyayika chikitsa, Yoga, Hitahara in addition to kayachikitsa department.
The diagnostic facilities to perform major clinical investigations include X ray, ECG, Ultra sound, Laboratory facilities for pathological, micro biological and biochemical tests.
The hospital had employed a system of integrating the approach of the subjective method of diagnosing disease by ayurveda and objective method of diagnosing diseases by modern tools in order to ensure accurate diagnosis and moniter the progress of diseases.
