Pharmacy

The Inpatient Pharmacy is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This complete prescription service is located on the Ground Floor of Tower 5. Some drugs and supplies are also available without prescription.

Amrita School of Ayurveda basically runs two major Pharmacy units:

Out-patient Pharmacy

Free Medicine Pharmacy

The activities of these units are synchronized by a Central Pharmacy Store which is the only receiving unit of all medicines required by the hospital. 

Out-patient Pharmacy is intended for all paid patients where over 400 types of medicines are dispensed. The Free Medicine Pharmacy is intended for charitable purpose where patients are selected depending upon the policy undertaken.

There are also various other hospital & college departments which are either directly or indirectly dependent upon the pharmacy to cater to their needs frequently.
